A perfect gift for anyone who appreciates quality British leather making.
The Dartington Belt a versatile complement for both jeans and smart-casual trousers.
The Dartington Belt is hand made using single layer 3.5mm thick Full Grain Italian leather or a single layer of 4.5mm thick full grain oak bark tanned Devon leather. We choose these hides for the Dartington belt partly because of the interesting colour choices and partly because the leather while being fairly thick and durable is also supple.
Free Leather Belt Personalisation
Complimentary personalisation of up to 12 characters is available. We use traditional bookbinders brass type (24pt Gill Sans) embossed on the reverse of the belt (hidden on the inside). The hot stamping process allows you to choose between gold, silver, black and blind (no colour) embossing. The personalisation will follow the same orientation as our maker's marque.
Please note, personalised items cannot be exchanged or returned.
Love your Leather Belt
Our leather is ethically and sustainably processed. The tannery uses a mixture of tree barks to transform the animal hides to leather. This is an ancient tradition which results in the familiar leather smell. Natural oils evaporate over time and need replenishing. Apply a dose of Tanner Bates Hide Food to the outside of your belt and other fine leather goods every 6 months or so to keep your leather in tip top condition.
Naturally tanned leather benefits from and will look its very best if given an occasional dose of natural waxes and oils.
